Description Well, here it is... one Gi-mungous tutorial to learn how to create landscapes in Ultra fractal. This tutorial covers the basics.

I am currently working on one that is more advanced that will draw upon what is here.

I really hope it provides useful.. if anything, it's a lot of fun.

As this is something new to me as well, any comments and/or suggestions to help improve this would be welcomed.

Cheers all!

Alright!

This is not my first tutorial Im looking through for UF! It's my second! I Do have experience with Apophysis.

But still, Im not really all the way through it, but I have to say that this tutorial is very well written, and one that I really like! I shall try to memorize this technique!

Oh, one question right now though!
What version of UF are you using?

Great tutorial! Yes I know it's advanced, but I had to give it a go [link] Even as an UF newbie, it was easy to follow ... it may have taken me a while however The corona on the right hand side is annoying, but I didn't notice it until rendered.

Wonderfully said, but I tried it and I failed ^^" Is it tut for fotoshop or Gimp?(Or maybe above)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

milleniumsentry In reply to Arvenia [2007-06-22 17:52:14 +0000 UTC]

It's a tutorial for a fractal generation program called Ultra fractal.

You can find a demo version at ultrafractal.com.

This is an advanced tutorial however. So you may wish to tackle something a little less involved for your first one. Feel free to message me if you ever get stuck.

Cheers!

Well, actually, before the tut was out I was already working on a landscape for Janet's Artistry Course. Why don't you have a look in my gallery? It's called After Glow and it's the latest image.
