Not really finished I guess, I probably should add some branches and detail the snow a little more but I uploaded it anyway. maybe I'll reupload it once it's done.any criticism would be greatly appreciated as this is my first attempt at painting something more or less seriously with photoshop.

Very beautiful! I'd like to see some more work on atmospheric perspective at work here. You have the fade into less detail pretty well but the frontmost tree or two needs a little more detail. Also, the general gradient into darkness at the top seems a little heavy and unexplained. Great work, though. It really feels like oil paints!

thanks, I've worked a bit on it since I posted it, adding details to the snow and the trees in the foreground. I'm probably going to crop the drawing on the top to remove the dark part a little.

Anytime! I always like to give constructive criticism when people ask for it as I love it myself. Not enough people actually do and it can be quite helpful when you want to improve. Those sound like good ideas and I'll want to see it again if it's reposted.

It's not bad! If you want to invest more time into I would do like you said, add some more branches. Also you could add some roots and build up the tonal values/highlights of the trees. Make them look a little more rounded.
