A red "hannya" oni mask. Hand sculpted and glazed. Red, black and white under glazes on stoneware.

In March of 2012, I won a small masquerade mask-making contest wearing this lovely beast.

I have a fondness for Oni, and this mask was a blast to make. I hope to make a full set some day of the original four traditional colors of oni, red, blue, yellow and black.
