I was Secret Santa in the Equine Nation Secret Santa.
I recently downloaded some free texture packs and have been having a blast of a time. SO MUCH EASIER TO ADD DETAIL LIKE OMG. Really though, this is awesome and I already have another picture started that plays with texture.
I am so happy with this picture. Even though I didn't come up with the background on my own, I felt I did a good job painting in the character and learning how to replicate the background through various brushes and whatnot. I also learned a lot about snow shadows and how sun works with color with the blues.
