The sun ain't shiningAnd I'm stuck in this room.
Can't get out
Always in
Surrounded by gloom.
The temperature rises
But never enough
Just cold and despair
From dawn till dusk.
I need an escape
Away from my fears,
Out over yonder
Out of my tears.
When will this end
This cruel punishment.
I hope it's soon over,
Can't stand such discontent.
Now I look,
Across the stars
My eyes wide open
I hate life's bars.
I must get out,
And get out I must.
If there's one thing I've learned
It's to never believe trust.
