Official Backstory:

Billie doesn't recall what happened to her before waking up in Inkopolis. She couldn't even remember her name either. All she remembered was several Inklings awaking her in the center of the city. Everyone was crowding around her, and making her feel uncomfortable. That was when the Squid Sisters showed up to see what all of the commotion was about. They helped Billie to her feet and asked her if she was ok.

She nodded and replied with a tiny, "yes". At that point, several Inklings grabbed her by the arms and pulled her away to join a turf war.

"Have you ever been in a turf war before? It's a lot of fun!"
"Here, you can use my splattershot junior!"

She worriedly glanced back at the Squid Sisters who only waved her on. "Oh ... but ... I don't know if I know how ..."

"Nonsense! It's really easy! Get your color everywhere, watch out for people on the opposite team, and splat them!"

Before she knew it, she was locked in a turf war for the first time. She had only been conscious for two minutes and she was already thrown into a game. The turf war started and everyone ran into the field. Splatting ink in all different colors at the walls, the floors, at people-- anything! Blur actually loved this sensation. It filled her with adreneline and it was a fun thing to do!

During the battle, she had a tendency to disappear and reappear behind people and splat them. She also seemed to move pretty quick in her ink. Everyone was astounded by this, and when they won this turf war, everyone ran to her side.

"That was amazing! You were moving so fast!"
"It was all like a blur! You were so fast you were a blur!"
"What did you say your name was again?"

Billie, not knowing her true identity thought for a moment.
Then it hit.

"Blur ..." she said quietly, "My name is Blur ..."
