This is perfect. Just...beautifully, depressingly perfect. I really like the shadow.
I've always loved the Ice King. Yeah, he's a villain - but he's one of those villains that is just so goofy and adorable that you love him instantly. Like Dr. Doofenshmirtz...only the Ice King is twice as sympathetic because of his psychosis and his past.
And then...then when you find out about SIMON...the feels just...

Oh my God, I know. Tom Kenny is BEAST. My childhood, too - back when SpongeBob was actually worth my time...and I was obsessed with it. lol
(I feel so bad for Tom sometimes...having to continue being SpongeBob, despite the show's ever-increasing decline in quality. That constant high-pitched obnoxiousness can't be good for his throat. omg)

Well, from what I've seen in interviews... Tom doesn't hate Spongebob. How could he?? It's payed him for a long long time. But when he mentions doing spongebob, he mostly says things like
"Oh yeah, I like Spongebob, but I ALSO do these voices...."
I think he's tired of it, yeah...
