Description

I've been really itching to draw Vero again, and work out his look as a completely metallic dino... so here we go! A brand shiny new updated set of references.

Thinking through a transformation is a lot of work in imagining how each part folds, retracts, flips, extends, and swivels. Props to the Transformers toy designers who have to work this kind of stuff out in real world 3D materials.

I think I managed to keep Vero's transformation within reasonable parameters! Only a few areas where I handwaved clearance or storage space (shh!). I also figured out where to equip him with a weapon. 'sploding feathers, then run awaaay!

I had to redraw his legs 6 times. 8D
