Won't you upload this one without the diffuse glow? It's very nice.

I love this series of classic nudes. Very well posed. You are truely accomplished as a self portraitist. I especialy like the way you frame most of your photos. In my mind it really adds to the image. Thanks for posting these.

Yes, framing can really make an image great. Some would disagree and claim it's cheating, but I don't think so. Not always, anyway.

Humm. I can't see how it can be cheating. I like it anyway.

I'm very happy with it myself, and I'm glad others enjoy it too. Vintage-feeling is also very nice, I love it.

This is very Rubenesque, defiantly in the classical mould.

All three of these came out extremely well, but the soft treatment of the hands on this one, as well as the hands/arms pose is particularly well done. Be interesting to combine something like this with the head/shoulders position of the one before, but I'm not sure it could be done and still look relaxed.
...all of these look very comfortable, which in combination with the lighting make them quite strong compositions.

Thank you for your insightful comment. Many just look at me, and not what I do with the poses or the image as a whole, and what works and what not works.
I am also a bit curious how it could be done, the combination of the head from 2 and this body-pose. I may have a look at it.
The comfortable feel to these is very important to the pieces. If that didn't shine through they would be very different, and not work together with the softening effect.

beautiful photo. the diffuse effect makes it look timeless and almost vintage. the posture, strong curves and hands makes me think of a greek mural.

That makes me very happy to read, as it was what I was going for. Of course, it's nothing new and it's nothing original, but going for somnething and achieving it is a great learning experience.

Yup. It's hard not seeing how it looks when one does selfportraits, but this felt very right to do, and it was.

A bit out of focus for me...NOT being critical now...so forgive me...I was hoping it would be more focused... beautiful pose though...

Thank you. Yes, the blurryness comes from me not having any lightsources, and then adding a soft glow effect in PS, which not everybody likes of course.
The pose is one I am very, very pleased with.
