P E R S O N A L I T Y.

Rouga is...to put it into a statement; larger than life. He does everything with 200% passion, and expects others to do the same. To others, he can be seen as a loud maniac with massive delinquent streak and a penchant for the idiotic. With the way he acts, the way he talks, and the way he simply lives his life, one could probably see it that way.

But in reality, it's only partially true. Rouga /is/ loud, disruptive, prone to violence, responsive to nearly all challenges to his character, and generally can't leave things that bother him alone. ...But he is more complicated than that. people assume that Rouga doesn't think, that he just goes in fists first, brain last, but they would find themselves wrong. Rouga tends to think more than anyone else. The fact that he can't stand the way things are, the way life is, and the way people move through life, trying to be normal, is what drives him to do the things he does.

Rouga tends not to make friends easily, due to his overbearing presence clashing with the social standard for being 'normal'. But nonetheless, the people that do manage to get through that barrier will find themselves a staunch ally. He can't stand to see pathetic sights, but at the same time, thinks that doing the work for someone solves nothing. Therefore, it is not unusual for him to shove himself into any applicable situation and use his generally overpowering sense of self to instill some manner of emotion out of the other. Be it anger, gratitude, the courage to do what must be done. He'll stop at nothing. As long as it's not cowardice and depression. That pisses him off more than anything.

- An enduring will, stubborn to the point of not giving up even at the expense of himself.
- Capable of quite a bit of thinking...leading to unorthodox solutions.
- Strength built up from years of being an obnoxious, stubborn fool. He can dish out as much as he can take.
- It's hard to get him down, emotionally. He's built up a rather hard headed outlook on life that keeps him from falling to depression too long.

w e a k n e s s e s.

- Terrible team player, if he thinks he knows something, he will rush off first to try and do it without team approval.
- Way too passionate. It's easy for him to fly off the handle in nearly any given situation, be it in anger or in happiness. Reigning him in can be a trial.
- Despite how he feels about people in general, he has a hard time relating on a personal level, and thus, his heavy handed 'assistance' tends to backfire most of the time.

H I S T O R Y.

Rouga's childhood isn't much to speak of initially. He grew up a good kid, going to school, hanging out with his friends, and playing around as anyone does. But as the years passed and he grew up, his parents began to place more and more responsibility onto him. They would continually instill into him the importance of making one's own choices, and staying true to them no matter what. They were intellectuals, one a university professor, the other, a doctor. But despite that, they didn't pressure Rouga to aspire to anything great. They told him to take his time, and find what it was that he enjoyed doing. But to never fall behind doing it.

These lessons would somehow culminate into Rouga deciding that the schooling systems provided did nothing to properly teach people the things they needed to know to get through life. He refused to be shackled by the expectations of society to be 'normal'. And thus resulted in the beginning of Rouga's present attitude. Fed up with normal society and it's ridiculous, unspoken rules, he would set out to break them, one by one, and grin happily while doing it all the while. This got him a reputation as a troublemaker and a delinquent, yet, consistently, he would also show up his naysayers in the classroom by actually completing his work and maintaining good grades, somehow as a statement that memorizing meant nothing and taught nothing. All the while, his parents, while personally not entirely approving of his behavior, could respect that he was following his ideals, and maintaining his grades. In some small level, they agreed with him. But at the same time...Well, his choices were his own.

...Nonetheless, Rouga eventually grew bored of this lifestyle, in the city he lived in. All the while, he'd kept in contact with an old friend from middle school; Nozomu Miyabi. He'd moved to Kirimori City years ago for high school, and they kept in contact primarily through emails and online games. Rouga had heard from him how the city was...frankly put, crazy. But Nozomu would never explain why. Eventually, feeling a spark of interest burning inside of him again, Rouga decided to transfer to Kirimori, and to Higashimori High to join his old friend, and see the city for himself.

He's going to get more than he asked for.

T R I V I A.

- Despite what people might think of him, he consistently baffles his teachers by actually completing his homework and assignments. In his words 'I can
memorize useless shit all day! Still don't do me no good on the road of life!"
- He is capable of speaking properly. ...He just doesn't. It's a habit to use the rough accent he does.
- Has a thing for red hair. Don't ask.
- Rumors say that he suplexed a deer at his last school. But those are just that; rumors.
- He abhors weaponry of any kind. FISTS ARE ALL ANYONE NEEDS.
- He used to be in the archery club at his old school...only because the Kendo Club president wouldn't take him. Word says that he had an epic rivalry with both. ...Key words being 'word says.'
