Phew! Finally done. I was supposed to finish this 3 days ago, but just could not find the time :/The reason why I was on deadline is because 3 days ago was the birthday of one of my biggest supporters here on dA - mrs. Swamnanthas! swamnanthas.deviantart.com/

I dedicated this drawing to you, and hopefully I'll continue to receive your support in the future
Now, about the character here. Even though this isn't the everyone's favorite Future Trunks, the coolest and most awesome character ever to animated; I have no hate towards the regular, present day Trunks Briefs - the kid who grew up without a care in the world, in the richest family on the planet, and a future head to Capsule Corps.
And I don't care what anyone says, I love the entire DBGT series, especially how it ended. Sure, it can't be compared to DBZ when it comes to quality, but as previously mentioned - I don't really care

It's definitely different than seeing the usual hero from the future. Where to myself, and of course many others, the future version is by far a favorite, I've always had my soft side from the present version as well. Spoiled, troublesome, whatever you want to call him he did have it better not having to hide in fear. But all in all, he still became a great valuable character to the series. And I love him just as much.
This looks absolutely amazing, and I figured I would just comment the finished version instead of all of them, but seeing your work in progress is quite magnificent. You really outdo yourself with each work you tackle and accomplish.

Besides, if it wasn't for your birthday, I probably wouldn't have done anything like this. I mean sure, I really am short on time, but it's not like I'm busy 24/7. So basically, I was just looking excuses to be as lazy as I can during my free time; but thanks to you, that's wasn't the case these past few weeks
And I'll try to keep this momentum rolling by working on the frames for my Reanimation project, so keep an eye out

Nah it's not better, but it is different. I'm glad you noticed.
While the original tends to focus on the face/head by making it bigger than the rest of the body, I try to balance the whole thing by scaling the head to be proportional with the body so it empathizes the full figure.

Actually, the real hard work is the lineart (step 1 ---> miraiwarriorwithin.deviantart.… ). If you get that done properly, the rest just falls into place by itself
