So, I found out that GLaDOS' Voice Actress, Ellen McLain, is also the Soprano Turret that sings "Cara Mia"
Bla, the computer lines don't line up like they should. It goes against physics, but everything about portal does that.

There is no doubt about it. GLaDOS (in the game) gave the Prima Donna Turret the lyrics so it could say goodbye to Chell for her (because she felt that she would grow too much of an attachment to her).

I always picture GLaDOS programming the turrets to sing, and then they went and did it themselves... but this is so much sadder and more personal! I love it!

I personally agree. In a way GLaDOS, in fact, DID sing this song. Not only because of similiar voice actors, but GLaDOS would have know if the turrets were planning for this. If she didnt want it to happen she would have sent each turret involved to the redemtion line.

That is a good point, but did you find the Turret easter egg in one of Ratmann's caves? It's a good one and sort of twists around the theory of GLaDOS singing the song.
No matter what though, I like the GLaDOS theory, true or not! XD
