Quite nice and I see what you mean about relaxing when taking pictures. You look very radiant, I can only help to wonder what was on your mind.

I honestly wish I could tell you! I don't think I was really thinking much of anything, just looking at the sunset.

Much thanks! It was all kind of hit and miss, playing with the camera and what not. And, I don't know if I mentioned this in the description, but I do actually just use a timer and tripod when photographing myself. My sister doesn't let the photos be natural enough for my taste, so I don't have her take the pictures.

Many, many thanks! I don't really like the obviously posed photos very much, they never seem quite as genuine. It's harder to portray any sort of emotion through a stiff pose, for me at least. I always tell people to relax, they aren't school photos, after all!

so so true but its really hard to relax knowing that a moment in time will be captured - you did it beautifully

Why would you say that it's hard to relax? Every moment is captured in some way, be it your memory or on film. When I take pictures, it's just another minute to me.

Just look past the camera and forget it's there. Ignore it. Or have people take enough surprise pictures that you get used to it. Haha!

For some reason, I doubt that. People are always more critical of themselves in photos than anyone else. Or maybe just more critical of themselves in general.
