Description
Named for how tricky and hard work it was to get this shot. It was taken in England on the East Coast of Suffolk, about an hours drive from me. It had been a horrible day, completely overcast, so I had planned on doing some black and white photography. When I arrived at the beach the clouds parted and gave me beautiful vanilla skies, how could I not shoot in colour.Related content

I just love the contrast between the sky and water.. the sky is so sharp while the water seems so smooth you can actually feel it when looking at it, the sky with its different colors and the water with its cappuccino colors and mostly the bare tree. What a beautiful beach.
just one quick question, I would have used a slower shutter speed, Why did you go for 1/2 second?

I tried desperately to get an ND filter during the day but couldn't get anything with a 77mm thread so I waited until dusk and went as long as I could, I did take some other longer exposures using a different lens and my IR and ND filters but the wider look was just nicer. Thank you for your lovely comment.
