Apparently I felt the need to make a bit of a statement...
Living in this most beautiful natural place.. where when fishing we run face to face with the bears.. moose eat your garden and trees...where you can whale watch and see polar bears wild in nature.. and sadly where every spring we have to go clean up (literally!) tons of garbage and the majority of humans seem to place more value on the all might dollar and what they can get out of mining and big oil then preserving this beauty..
okay ..yeah..

I agree with Tracye. Both sides could stand alone and they are equally beautiful even though they are polar opposite compositions. And yet they work so well together. I also love the message you are conveying here. It's so sad that the "people" don't get it and are destroying the very beauty they came to enjoy for the sake of the almighty dollar. :sigh: Thank goodness for people like your family who care enough to clean up. 
And oh yes ... would love to see that collab between you two.

this is a piece that you just can't look at via the thumbnail...you get no sense of the awesomeness by seeing it small! that tornado rocks! this is a gorgeous piece, carolyn!!

Thank You... the sky was a real pain in the ass.. I'm still not totally happy with the way the clouds blend.. but.. 
I kept adding little things of life.. the butterfly was actually the 7yo's doing.. he insisted. So many small things that I dont think unless you see the pieces you even really consider them.. like the grass and water ripples..or her reflection dieing in the sand.. so yeah.. I guess I could have posted bigger too lol..

i think that sky looks pretty damn awesome...and i am still in love with that tornado! the 7yo has a good eye, because i think that butterfly needs to be there! and those fluffy clouds on the left are divine!!
i think you've posted it big enough..yeah, it would be awesome to see if full size, but then you'll just find other people selling it and using it across the web, so i think the size you've made it is a good compromise!
