I think they shared a recording room. I shared a recording room, a building actually. with Jimi Hendrix's brother. He was right next door , we knew the grunge artists too. Ugh, part of this memory is real, I question the rest.

Never was into the earlier records. Since Swordfishthrombones I got a believer. I still remember the broadcast and review on the radio, I was around 12. Incredible music, I was thinking. Still have the record, bought the cd, and listen to it nearly every day. I later read, Waits had to change the record company, to get it released. He had to borrow some money as well... hehe. Great guy was sure he did the right thing. Somehow the first musically extravaganca thing ever 
Ok sex drugs and r&r the wellknown going down is still there. And nobody can deny, drugs put this limbic accoustically stuff into some even greater dimension. The medicinal staff and sure the government isn´t amused about that ongoing. Who cares? We care a lot...
One day we got involved to the square and decent being around, we didn´t quite notice ...the solution was, we developed problems.
