A delayed flight led to Daphnes dad missing her performance. While he feels awful about it Shes actually kind of glad. Her tripping, knocking down all the other girls and causing a minor stage fire isn't really something she wanted her dad to witness. Maybe he will let her quit now? I mean it obviously hasn't helped cure her clumsiness............

Yep! Clumsy seems to be something you're born with, then if you are lucky you get to out grow it. Barring injury its not generally something that develops later. Poor old Daphs been clumsy from the start.

Meanwhile shaggy and Scooby are not truly clumsy but instead suffer from a chronic case of bad luck. Look at everything that happens to those two:
Everytime the gang splits up in search of clues, Shaggy and Scooby get attacked by the guy in the monster suit whom has every intention of murdering them in order to keep any evidence of his criminal activity from being discovered.
They are consistently drafted as live bait even when Fred himself or one of the girls be a bigger draw to the villain.
90% of Fred's traps end up capturing them as well because they weren't lucky enough to get out of the way in time.
