Excuse the crappy, lazy, preview image

Here's my entry for AnimeNebula003 's contest (fav.me/d97572h )

I was inspired by the stage I used as the computer, and desperately wanted to use it as a computer somewhere, and combined with this vague idea I had for putting a helmet on and everything changing, like it does but in a completely different environment. My main thought came from the idea is that people all wear bland and functional clothing, but because everyone is wearing headsets, they make it so that they choose what clothing is projected onto their body so that it's not that they're actually wearing those clothes, but those are the clothes that others see you wearing. I didn't really get that across here, but I'm pretty happy with how it came together.

This was not how it was meant to turn out, but I've been busy and I didn't realise that the deadline was so soon. Overall I'd say it's gone well, there's so many things that if I'd had more time I would've improved (like filled some of those shelves ...) In all seriousness I would've liked to have made some bits a little clearer. For example: the reason she puts on boots is so that she can walk around the cabin and retain the projection, but also I had an idea that it would be able to stop her from walking into walls and that if the cabin was projected as an open space. Really the boots are for safety. I wanted gloves so that she'd be able to perform commands with her hands and touch objects that weren't really there and were projected (such as the screens that I intended to be able to report useful things for the ship). I also figured that if she was talking to the computer and was pointing at things, the computer would actually know where she was pointing and things like that. Practical stuff like that.

Also, I spent a reasonable amount of time on the ship model, but you don't actually get to see the outside of it at any point. That's why I've added it on at the end there. Same with Claire's model, I actually made it, I'm damn well going to let you see it. Of course, not that she has a face. She's not supposed to.

Anyway, if I ever become less lazy, I may actually remake parts of these, and fix a couple of little things that I'm not 100% happy with (like all the voice parts ... my voice sucks)

Credits I forgot to add:
All sound effects - Me (feel how terrible they are)
Other programs used: Sketchup & Metasequoia

And yes it is supposed to be almost silent although you can hear the whirring of the engine, they're in space

Note for critique:
Please don't critique the picture (I know its rubbish), I would like constructive critique on the video

I liked it! I wish you could have been able to do all that you originally intended. It's so cool you did something other than a model edit. I hope you win!

Thank you very much X3

I wish I was as well, but we're all just slaves to time.
