Previous part, the not-really-a-tutorial: [link]More tutorials and the antics of Professor on askprofessor.tumblr.com !
You can also ask and be answered, or submit your own piece for critique and lessons on drawing ponies!
I went a bit more mental with the background this time - effectively creating a wallpaper for a really strange monitor. If someone is interested, I could release a simplified version for mobile phones or something, but I'd have to know the aspect ratio and/or resolution.
Sorry for not being tutoring that much in this one either, but even though the tools are important, they are pretty easy to use and even boring.
I plan on covering 3d boxes and ellipses next time.
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts about this one.

Ah, if you can, you could just upload the background? It's got such an amazing composition, and it's pretty detailed!
I never actually knew there were uses for those tools besides making squares and stars and stuff. Like the weird green pepper brush in photoshop or something. You showed me though! Using stars for magic didn't even cross my mind!

It's here , along with the SVG.
Yeah, most people don't actually stop and try experimenting around with those tools, so they don't get to use them like this. That's why I only cover little in each tutorial - I try to show some creative ways to use the tools.

Ah, thank you so much! It's really amazing to look at.
And that's exactly why I love your tutorials. Besides the fact that they're presented in a fun and inventive way, they also show those innovative ways to use basic tools! I have to say, thank you so much! for making these! I'm not getting far in vectoring, but I feel like I know a lot more because of them!
