Description
The Grendel 6.5mm round was an interest to the Phoenix Group as a new firearm round. However like the countries of the world the round was considered to be too expensive to replace the plentiful calibers used in militaries across the world. However the Phoenix Group took the Grendel 6.5mm and the Remington 6.8mm rounds and experimented with them. The Phoenix Group became the first armed force that used rounds of those calibers. This also lead to the US to procure the iconic combat armor seen in the various military bases around the Wastelands.

This became part of the TSC arsenal and investigations on essentially combining the two rounds were underway by the time the Irons Chapter started their shenanigans that would lead to the TSC/Irons conflict.
