"Could I ask you for a favor?" Jenna asked Ash, her lab partner for Chemistry"What?" Ash responded, engrossed in Spanish homework. No one ever did Chem homework in Chem; their teacher never assigned homework- she was too preoccupied with her own life.
"Um…you know how I said I have mom issues?"
Ash and rested her delicate chin on her child-sized hands.
"Yeah, I remember. I still maintain that mine are worse, though."
"Well, she's on this social tangent and I need someone to go to the dance with…a friend will work too."
"Sure."
Jenna breathed a sigh of relief.
