Description
It's funny how somethingCan cover your mind
At all times
It enters, unassuming,
Unexpected,
Then suddenly
It's your whole world
With you when you
Wake up
With you when reminded
(and everything reminds)
But good or bad,
You get used to it.
It's the cloth doll
You sleep with, your
Childhood blanket,
Your battered book of tales,
Your wedding ring
It's there and you
Can't imagine life
Without it
Then, as suddenly
As it came,
It leaves
Leaves you
Leaves you on your knees
Leaves its fingertips on your
Impressionable skin
And you wonder
What you did
What you thought about
What you rotated around
When it wasn't there
When you didn't even
Know it would someday
Be there…
Was it a combination
Of things?
No…
Was it this?
No…
Somehow you can't
Remember
Your life is empty
Without it
So begins
The search
To end
The space

I follow and agree with this compleatly.
I've gone through a great deal of phases and when they finish there is a space left behind.

Oh god. This happens to me
Once again, I like the length of your lines. They are quite effective

obsessions, yes. Sometimes it's people, though, who just sort of *appear* and you're like where have you been all my life? And then you can't remember why they were so important
