Description
This I actually did way back in May, its on a large sketchbook so I never got around to photographing. It is a drawing based on the song Highwayman by Loreena McKennitt...This part:
He rose upright in the stirrups; he scarce could reach her hand
But she loosened her hair i' the casement! His face burnt like a brand
As the black cascade of perfume came tumbling over his breast; and he kissed its waves in the moonlight,
(Oh, sweet black waves in the moonlight!)
Then he tugged at his rein in the moonlight, and galloped away to the West.
I plan to do more with this sort of sketch.

That is the best poem in the world. I have the entire thing memorized since I was about 12. *Sigh* It's so tragic! lol.
Anywho, you've done such a good job so far hun! I would love to see this piece finished! It's gorgeous! I love the poses you managed to create, and the horses ears are just so perky! Your shading so far is brilliant, and I really think this piece would look fantastic if you finished it! I've always wanted to create some sort of ode to Alfred Noyes' fairest work. Beautiful job so far!

You're more than welcome hun! I'm sorry for the long delay in my response! I've had so much on my plate this last semester with work and school! This piece really is gorgeous, and I think you've captured the scene of the poem splendidly. ^^ Do let me know if you've finished it!
