I disagree. I've seen characters getting hanged in Kids Shows and Movies before. So it shouldn't be Mature.
For instance, in Hocus Pocus, you actually see the Witches getting hanged with nooses, and it was still a kids movie.
And in Tarzan, they actually had Clayton accidentally hanging himself in the vines when he tried to cut himself loose, and that was still a kids movie.
As long as it isn't a bloody and gorey death, I'd say it's perfectly fine and not mature.
