I'm running into a weird problem where my style is a bit too cartoony for what I want.  I may bite the bullet when I publish this one, and redo the other cover as well with a stock image, because I've found a few nice ones that would look better.  But the expense is making me leery.


I think I can get a few vector sheets for about thirty bucks though, and defray the costs by using all the vectors eventually.

Interesting, I didn't really see it as terribly cartoony until you mentioned it. And really, i think it's only the bottom of the handles that seem to add that effect. But it's yours so you're the one you have to please.

Yeah, I'm not sure.  It's still a couple weeks off, so I've got time to think about it.  I did find some really nice heraldry animals for fairly cheap though.  Maybe I'll put it on my credit card.
