Another year has gone by and that means another list of my favorite animated things to come from the year. 2021 as a whole was a quite good year for animation. The obvious highlight for me being cartoons because I think that cartoons are becoming more popular and mainstream than ever especially with adult cartoons. Things like Arcane and Invincible are literally changing the industry for the better. Animation is also becoming a lot more diverse with The Mitchells Vs The Machines and Arcane having openly LGBT+ main characters and culturally diverse things like Encanto, Raya and The Last Dragon, Vivo, and Maya and The Three becoming more common to find year after year. With all that being said here are my top ten favorite things in animation 2021. Honorable mentions include Inside Job, Jellystone, Invincible, What If...?, Vivo, My Little Pony: A New Generation, Scooby Doo Meets Courage, Komi San Can't Communicate, Raya and The Last Dragon, and The Wish Dragon. Now on to the list.
