When it comes to fictional media one of the most fascinating characters in any given story should be the villain. They are usually the primary force that moves the plot or a big obstacle that our protagonist has to overcome. The best villains are usually the ones that are more interesting and have thought processes that are interesting to explore. The absolute best villains are usually the ones that you are able to relate to and even sympathize with. I am not saying what the villains did was excusable, but at the very least I like to be able to see where they are coming from. I also tend to like villains that just so happen to get redeemed because the struggle between doing what is right and wrong can be quite the exciting story to watch unfold. Here are my top ten favorite villains in fiction.
