Venus & Vesta's Cutie Marks

Venus - Venus with magic around it. She got her cutie mark rather early after embracing her destiny to be the next ruler. Her mother couldn't raise the sun and the ponies were becoming worried. With all the grace of her mother she rushed out of the palace and flew high into the sky. In order to help her mother and her subjects she tapped into all of her power to raise the sun. She was still just a filly. After this incident she was bed ridden for a whole season.

Vesta - A star wish shooting stars surrounding it. After an argument with her sister she ran away and ended up getting lost, deep inside the Everfree Forest. All alone and scared she looked up to the sky to see nothing, but darkness. She was so jealous of her sister getting her cutie mark at a younger age and was now hating herself for comparing the two. She wanted to return home and apologize for being so foolish. Using the little magic she had she created a single star to guide her home. The star rose into the dark heavens and was bright enough for Luna to see and come get her niece.
