History
Kithood:
Gentle Little Tumbleweed (Tumble) was born to Sunflower That Stands In Blizzard (Sunflower), along with her brother Periwinkle In Patch Of Wheat (Wheat); their father was unknown. Sunflower was horrified by how small her daughter was, she was sure that Tumble wouldn't last a moon. The Queen was hysterical in her worry, the Healers were more worried about what her stress would do to the kits than about Tumble's size. The Queen had never shown any signs of having an anxious nature before having kits, so the sudden change made some heads spin.
Wheat was a sleepy Tom and didn't make a good playmate for Tumble, or anyone for that matter. Sunflower was incredibly protective of Tumble and feared for the safety of her small kit. Most cats may consider her tactic to be cruel, but the moment Tumble could speak and understand, Sunflower told her daughter that the world is cold and heartless. The cats around her may pretend that she could do anything she wanted, and that their home was safe, but they were liars. At any moment a Mountain Lion could rip her from the clan and make her it's next snack, or an angered cat could throw her off a cliff and she'd have no way of defending herself. She assured Tumble that she'd do everything in her power to protect her, but she had to stay close at all times. Despite how tight she tried to keep Tumble under wraps, Sunflower was unable to keep Tumble from befriending 2 rowdy kits and larger than average Claw Guard.
To-be:
When it came time to decide her future path, she followed the one her mother wanted her to: becoming a Healer. Many cats pitied her, seeing her decision as something her mother decided for her as opposed to one she decided herself. She wasn't sure if it was her own decision either, to her it felt like either option she picked would have been directly because of her mother; between healer or claw guard, but she felt like it was the safest. She wasn't unhappy, her mom was happy and relieved, and the Healers were very nice to her. Perhaps she made the right decision.
She lived in her contentedness until a fire threatened the Tribe and their home. When a group of To-bes returned from their quest covered in ash and in a panic over a tribemate that was still on the fire-covered mountain, Tumble joined the group sent to retrieve them. Due to her size and general fear of the situation she was unable to provide much support. After the Speaker for the Claw Guards crushed by fallen debris, Tumble attempted to check for a way to save the tom, but he had sustained too many injuries for revival to be possible. She was carried down the mountain by Fang and reunited with her family.
