Kithood: (Birth - 6 moons)
Dark-kit was born to the Ruinclan Queen, Hawkfeather, and Ruinclan Warrior Blackscar. Hawkfeather was an old she-cat, and thus had complications during her pregnancy, leading to two of her kits being still-born. Blackscar was healing from a fox attack when Dark-kit was born, the Senior Warrior was so happy to meet his daughter, despite his pain. Unfortunately, his wounds were deeper than what was thought of and Blackscar died from infection.
Blackscar had passed before Dark-kit's eyes had opened, thus she had no memory of him. Hawkfeather, distraught over her mate's death, renamed Dark-kit to Black-kit in his honor. From there Hawkfeather raised Black-kit on her own, teaching her to be merciful to all and to do good, but ensuring Blackkit knew that she was loved and that she could always come to her mother for support.
TL;DR:

Apprenticeship: (6 moons - 12 moons)
Blackkit was named Blackpaw upon becoming an Apprentice, and was assigned the Ruinclan Deputy, Lionclaw, as her mentor. Hawkfeather privately discussed her dissatisfaction with Blackpaw's chosen mentor, saying that something about him always made her distrust him, but she wasn't sure what it was. Blackpaw came to Lionclaw and asked him why her mother might distrust him, to which he said that his father was absent throughout all his life, and it made other cats believe that he would turn out to be just like him; he cited Foxlight, an ex-friend of his, as an example. Lionclaw then tried to comfort her about the fact that she had no father growing up either, saying that even though cats wouldn't trust her for it, he would protect her and he would always be her friend.
Going back to her mother, Blackpaw told her about her and her mentor's conversation, and that she shouldn't be so mean to Lionclaw about not having a father. Hawkfeather was ready to explode with anger, but reeled herself in and calmly told Blackpaw that she shouldn't have gone off to tell Lionclaw something that was supposed to be private and a secret. Blackpaw apologized and promised to not do it again.
Blackpaw had problems speaking with the other Apprentices, as she wasn't used to making friends all on her own. Emberpaw, an Apprentice only a moon older than Blackpaw, saw Blackpaw and immediately clung to the new cat. Emberpaw had been seen as a nuisance by the other Apprentices for her high energy and her constant ramblings about nothing, and saw Blackpaw as a great opportunity for friendship. They made for good friends, Emberpaw made up for Blackpaw's quiet nature, and Blackpaw was able to steer Emberpaw away from trouble. By the time they neared the age to become Warriors, everyone in the clan knew how close they were.

Warriorhood: (12 moons - 71 moons)
Emberpaw was already Embertail by the time Blackpaw's Warrior ceremony came. Blackpaw was named Blackclaw for her strong attacks and in honor of Lionclaw. As per tradition, Blackclaw visited the Star Tunnel the night of her vigil. She felt joy flow through her, a feel for what could have happened if her father and siblings had lived. It was a strong feeling of what others called a completed family, and it left her crying on the way back to camp.
Not long had passed after she became a Warrior, many clanmates were gossiping, wondering when her and Embertail would become mates. Blackclaw was starting to become aware that she felt something for Embertail, but she wasn't quite sure what it was yet. She thought that it might just be how she-cat's feel when they have other she-cat friends, or maybe it was because they were close in age. The whole clan could see it, just not them.
A patrol returned in a panic, dogs had been spotted in the territory near Growling Hills. Dawnstar called on Blackclaw, Embertail, Lionclaw, and Foxlight to help her deal with the dogs. Blackclaw, Embertail, and Dawnstar took on one dog, while Foxlight and Lionclaw took the other. One dog took aim at Blackclaw, finding the large she-cat a better target than the two ginger cats, while the second dog swung it's claws and hit Lionclaw, hitting hard. The first dog grabbed Blackclaw by her tail and swung her around, until the pressure from being swung around, and the dog's sharp teeth, caused her tail to be ripped from her body, throwing her to the side, where she immediately went unconscious.
Blackclaw awoke in the Medicine Den with her tail wrapped in cobwebs and shouting filling the camp. Lionclaw stood atop the Leader's den, looking down on Foxlight and her mate, Mousefoot. Mousefoot and a few other cats were shouting at Lionclaw, others looked unsure or even guilty. Lionclaw, now Lionstar, had already visited the Star Tunnel and was announcing his status as Ruinclan Leader. He then immediately announced that Foxlight was banished from the clan for letting Embertail die as she sat back and did nothing, suggesting that maybe she was trying to punish him by hurting the cat he cared for the most. Mousefoot argued that it wasn't the case, but most of the clan agreed that it was odd how Foxlight couldn't act when an injured cat could.
Blackclaw noticed the families of Embertail and Dawnstar over their bodies as the reality of what happened set in. Some noticed Blackclaw's stare and helped the large she-cat over as she grieved with the rest of Embertail's family, Hawkfeather came to her daughter's aid immediately.
She was pulled away suddenly by Foxlight, she pleaded for Blackclaw to tell Lionstar that she knew this was a mistake. Blackclaw sided with Lionstar, wanting justice. With no one who could convince the Ruinclan Leader otherwise, Mousefoot left the clan with Foxlight. After they left, Lionstar renamed Blackclaw to Missingtail, showing the clan her dedication to protecting them. Quicksnake is named Deputy.
The little bit of light Missingtail had before was gone after losing Embertail, she lost all sense of purpose. It hurt Lionstar to watch Missingtail become so sad, he didn't know what to say to make it better. He gave her an Apprentice named Goldenpaw, and while training did help her grief, she still wasn't the same as before; she was hardened and pessimistic about life. It took many moons before she was able to share her feelimgs regarding her name to her mother; she didn't like it and wanted to go back to being Blackclaw, but she knew how proud Lionstar was about the name and just accepted it.
After Hawkfeather died, Missingtail began to want the life of a Medicine Cat, she loathed being the big, intimidating Warrior of the clan. Lionstar, Quicksnake, and Swiftwing were climbing in age, the former two were ready to retire any day now; Buzzardwing would need the help.
TL;DR:

Deputy: (71 moons - Current)
Quicksnake and Swiftwing were well into the age they could retire when they finally did, leaving Lionstar only one cat he could trust with the position; Missingtail. Having to interact with the entirety of the clan only showed her how distant and out of touch she was with her clanmates, she only ever spoke to Lionstar, Quicksnake, Swiftwing, and Hawkfeather; she was still too nervous to make new friends. Then as moons passed, so did Quicksnake, Swiftwing, and Buzzardwing, the Medicine Cat. Missingtail and Lionstar comforted eachother as best as they could, but neither really knew the best way through grief. She did notice, however, that Lionstar acted softer and kinder, even his eyes looked happier, he credited Buzzardwing for his more optimistic view on life and admited that he had feelings for her and he was pretty sure she felt the same, hoping they would be mates in Starclan.TL;DR:

The young cat huffed again as Rockrunner was not budging on waiting for everyone else to wake up too, and Zinniapaw didn't like the answers she was getting from her. "If they cause a ruckus then how come everyone else is able to still hunt, huh," she thought in rebuttal, but didn't voice it. Her tail twitched behind her, looking to the ground as she listened to her mentor's other reasons for waking up early.
Her Mother's words rang in her head,"Just 'cause it's not a rule doesn't mean you should do it." That was her favorite thing to say to her and Wildkit- Wildpaw now. Like that time Wildkit ran and jumped on a moss ball full of water and got water all over him, then shook himself out and got water all over everyone else too. When Lilythorn went to clean him, Zinniakit did it and jumped on the moss ball too, though she didn't get nearly as much water on herself. She didn't shake herself out after it though, since Lightkit started crying about being wet.
Rockrunner didn't talk like Lilythorn did, the black and white Apprentice noticed, she thought the brown molly was starting to sound like she didn't want to be there with her. "Why did you wake me up so early then?" she asked in her head again.
Then the older she-cat dropped that she had never had a mentor, which upset the lanky cat. "If she didn't have to wake up this early, then why do I have to? How is that fair?" Her thoughts brewed hot until Rockrunner continued. Zinniapaw's ears flopped over with confusion at the mention of loners. She had never heard the word, as her parents had never talked about Loners before; she knew that there were two other clans that weren't real clans because they didn't call themselves clans nor did they follow Starclan, but nothing about supposed Loner clans. "What's a Loner?" she mewed as she padded up to walk beside Rockrunner, intrigued by this mysterious fourth clan, "They sound grumpy".
The Apprentice felt herself be dealt a sudden shock that left a glow of warmth that focused mostly on her face. "They're dead?!" she shouted, not knowing what to do in this situation. Her ears and posture dropped suddenly, 100 questions zoomed in her head in the time it took to ask one, "W-why did they die? Why didn't your clanmates help? What did they do? What happened to you and your brothers and sisters?" she stopped to look down at her legs compared to her mentor's, "That's too small, Rockrunner!" she squealed as if to tell the larger she-cat that she shouldn't be parentless at that age.
She stood to think of a solution to this, or some way she could help; everyone deserved parents. "What if I shared my parents with you? They're really nice, but you have to be careful with what you say or they'll just keep talking and talking and it's sooo long".
