Kithood: (Birth - 6 moons)
Rainkit was born to Watertail and Pinestripe, along with her two brothers, Frogkit and Pebblekit. As a kit, Rainkit showed to be a calm, but mostly lazy, kit. Her littermates often tried to get her to participate in her games, but she preferred to crawl on top of Watertail and just take a nap on her, although any cat large enough to fit her would also do. While her brothers played, she spent most of her time sleeping, joking that she was saving her energy for battle. Surprisingly she got along well with Graykit, despite the tom kit's normal energy around others, he made a good pillow for Rainkit when he crashed.
She was also quite interested in Starclan, once she reached the age to understand what they are. She would go pester the medicine cat after their visits to the Star Tunnel, trying to get them to tell her about what Starclan said and did. Sometimes she would try to help them, take little things and somehow try and find a "sign" out of it. The medicine cats thought it was cute, but knew she wouldn't be able to correctly interpret signs from Starclan correctly, seeing how farfetched her guesses were, and thus thought she wasn't cut out to be a medicine cat apprentice.
Rainkit was glum when Graykit became Graypaw and moved onto the apprentice's den, partly because she missed her napping buddy, partly because now her brothers were bugging her a lot more to play, and now Watertail wasn't there anymore to hide behind. Then the clan experienced a loss as the Medicine Cat, Poppyheart, passed away after catching an illness from one of the Apprentices. The loss of a Medicine Cat, and Rosepatch'es sister, left the remaining she-cat to become anxious amd desperate.

Apprenticeship: (6 moons - 14 moons)
Finally, after two moons of dealing with her annoying brothers, Rainkit became Rainpaw, Medicine Cat Apprentice, and was assigned Rosepatch to be her mentor. Sadly Graypaw got himself into a habit of sneaking out of camp, meaning she still had to deal with her obnoxious brothers a lot. She felt relieved everytime Rosepatch would take her away for training, even though it meant she had to work instead of sleep. When Rosepatch would allow it, sometimes the two cats would sit between the pond and the river, enjoying the feeling of warm sun on their backs and the nice cool water at their paws, letting the calm wash over them.
Unfortunately, Graypaw's constant disappearance was only foreshadowing what was to come, as one day a few clanmates had heard from a Loner than Graypaw had left to become a Rogue. He thought Starclan was a stupid idea meant to make the clan obey the words of Leaders, and he wanted to make his own band of cats to counter the clans. The news took Rainpaw completely by surprise as she only knew Graypaw to be soft and cuddly, not tough or malicious. She began to question her loyalties due to the experience, believing that things weren't the way they seemed. Slowly she grew to become quite irratic, she began to believe that Starclan wanted them to only wanted them to consume fish, amongst other odd theories. Graypaw's body was later found stuck on a rock in the river, it looked like he had been beaten up by multiple cats and dumped in the river. Despite not following their beliefs, he was burried where other clanmates would be burried.

Medicine Cat: (14 moons - Current)
Rainpaw was given the name Rainwhisker alongside her brothers Pebblenose and Frogrunner. With more time on her paws, rather than spend it socializing, or you know, being a good clanmate, Rainwhisker spent her time theorizing and searching the territory for clues onto what those Starclan cats were up to. When the territory began to experience hardships with predator attacks and floods, she came to the conclusion that Starclan was against Groveclan, and that they were enemies.

Her erratic nature made the rest of the clan nervous, although there was nothing anyone could do about it as it wasn't actually harming anyone. Cats went to Rosepatch about problems usually, this didn't bother Rainwhisker, interacting with other cats was her least favorite part of the job anyways.

Life turned when an Apprentice developed Rat's Bite, and Rosepatch quickly fell to the illness as well. With sage out of season, the old Medicine Cat was unable to survive long and passed away in her sleep. The next day, Rainwhisker watched the river claiming she was going to see what Starclan wanted her to do. She returned with thyme saying Starclan told her it was the cure, dispite Starclan before saying that they didn't know the cure. The Apprentice fully recovered and she told the other clans about the new cure.
