Description
A rather moody portrait of our fair Opera Ghost.I swear I listened to Moonlight Sonata on repeat while I drew this.... with a small Ave Maria break in between (Schubert's version).
I'd consider this a speed paint... cause I did it in about an hour.
Also, I've found that I like to give Erik cool scars. Cause I bet he got into a lot of fights, yeah?

Indeed, a cadaverous visage, and yet my heart sang when I laid eyes on it. Why? Because you drew him really close to how I picture him! ^u^ That hardly EVER happens, sadly.

There are so many interpretations of Erik out there that it's hard to pick my favorite. Haha. Everyone has wonderful ideas. I think I prefer the Leroux Erik best, but I always have to put my own spin on things.

Thanks! I first heard phantom of the opera when I was four. It was my first obsession haha. I've adored it ever since and sometimes draw fanart.
It also inspired me to take lessons in opera, so there's that.

I rather like your interpretation of Erik. It does remind me of Lon Chaney's take on the Phantom quite a bit.

This is so epic! I just love the detail and the eye reeeally makes me want to run
