I think that you quite overdid yourself with this one! XD Seriously, I'm impressed with this model, you nailed it! XD Froimar's pose is truly amazing and dynamic, it really gives the impression that he's swinging with it, and look at that happy face, so cute!! Very good work the wrecking ball too.

Absolutely correct! Blender's hair particles are really powerful! Especially when used with the particle editor in the viewport. It's a fun system to use!

Well, for feathers, I would recommend creating a displacement and alpha map. The amount of fur particles you would need to make a good feather is very large and creates a lot of lag. I use a displacement map for the feathers I do. If you'd like, we could add each other on Discord and we could talk more about modelling there and I could share pictures of how I made my displacement map. Otherwise, I can try to explain here.
