Based on an early sketch, this is the finished, to scale illustration of my steampunk armored boot design.
The ankle cuffs should split along the front and back, held together either by magnets or a latch. Hose clamps would also work. XD
The brown portions should be leather. Thick, but soft and flexible leather. The leather pieces should be cut loosely to allow freedom of movement.
Connecting the leather to the metal is still a bit hazy. It has been suggested to use rivets, so I'm going to go with that.

If anyone makes these, I would very much like to see pictures.!
