Interesting. though if your willing to put work into something, i think it would be better to get working on a real video game from scratch, find programers and stuff.
Who will say in the future "Oh.. remember that Rpg maker game?". I like RPG maker for inspiration and ideas, and quick thoughts and little games for fun and stuff, but its more of a building block game, rather than something you can really make true games with. i never seemed to be able to do things like make cutscenes and stuff. <:{
