Description For now, I'll title this story branch "Endail". It is a complete squad with someone on the offense, someone on the defense, and two supporters.

This also doubles as a productivity system. Similar to Modus Opera and Life is a Dance.

It goes exactly as how I introduced them. A melee attacker, a ranged attacker, and two helpers. Michael, Humbeck, and Closs and Nella.

Starting from the left, that's Nella. She usually takes up chores. Tasks that don't necessarily contribute to the main goal (like washing dishes or mopping the floor), but are good initiators for productivity. Endail has been in testing mode for a few days now, and she's consistently been collecting the most productivity points compared to the other three.

Then Closs. She is more of the bucket list person, usually refusing to do just any random task. The way she works is that there would be something she wants to do before the day ends, and she won't move on to a different task until her desired task is complete. The fixation usually falls on tasks that are doable within a day (taking out the trash, returning the book to a library) This can be taken advantage of, but no ideas came up yet as to how.

Now Michael. Michael has been a short fuse lately, always focusing on how Humbeck is always ahead of him. Michael would wanna prove to him that he can be better. Generic rivalry of equals. His short temper makes him a good leader for tackling challenging tasks, tasks that do add up to the main goal. Like work or study (or for example making an important phone call, or applying for a higher position).

Finally, Humbeck. With a cool head like his, he loves high-focus, distraction-free tasks. Namely, tasks that take a long time to finish (like reading a book, or writing an essay). He seems like he doesn't care too much about the competition he's in with Michael, but the girls already heavily suspect that he enjoys teasing the angry lil dude. He has not yet opened up about it to the girls though.

How Endail works is that a full point is given when an important task is complete (1 or F for full) and half a point is given for completion of smaller tasks or simply the initiation of hard tasks (0.5 or H for half). The following is an example of one of the trial runs of the Endail tally:

Michael: 1.5 (F, H)
Humbeck: 3 (H, H, F, H, H)
Closs: 0.5 (H)
Nella: 3.5 (H, H, H, F, F)
(Total: 8.5)
Reaction: Michael and Humbeck are being childish as usual, Mike jealous of Hum and Hum just acting smug about it.

The good thing about Endail? Even if the characters take point in doing the tasks and being productive, it still means that it's ME who's done them. So it's a huge win for me and my characters.
If you wish to try this productivity system out with your own characters, I hope it works out for you too. Good luck.

EXTRA:
- Yes, this can be treated as a game of race among the characters. A game of race, but every participant's progress adds up to the team's advancement. I guess you could call this, competitive progression

- Not a golden rule, but it's implied that you, the creator, is also a part of the team. So it's you and three of your characters together for a main goal. My self-insert in this case is Closs. If you have a self-insert, try working with your characters side-by-side

- I initially thought up of this idea because I was getting sick of to-do lists. Seeing a huge list of things to get done was overwhelming for me, so I turned it upside down and made it a tally system instead, keeping track of completed tasks instead of incomplete tasks
