The revealing of Frollo as a vampire reminds me of a climatic scene in the anime series "Valvrave the Liberator", in which one of the heroes openly attacks a public figure in front of a live audience and reveals that the public figure is not human.

Since this is Esme's first time learning what Claude truly is. I think she should over look that side of him and love him anyway. Defend him even. It's not like he's actually hurt her or put her in danger. He's actually been really sweet and loving to her.
Sometimes love changes a person. I know it's cliche, but that's what I believe. I believe Esme's love has changed him and no one wants to see it, because they are blinded by their own belief that it's impossible for someone like Claude to love. Even though all through this whole comic Phoebus and Clopin have proven to me who the real monsters are.
I think Esme should save him and take him far away where no one will find them. At this point Clopin has displayed total disregard to Esme's feelings about Claude and doesn't deserve her attention or explanation. They've pretty much treated her like a weak child that can't make decisions for herself. That should be insulting to her.

Well .. well... Loving someone does not make you a better person. And if you discovered for example ... that your daughter fell in love for a Nazi assassin, you too would do anything to stop something bad from happening to her. I'm just saying...
