Hello!Please concider this one as a Work In Progress!
I went to a cosplay convention last weekend as Cloud from FFVII:AC. Then a few days before the convention. I had this great idea of making a 1:1 size cardboard print of the sword so I could wear on my back!
I became really busy and had to hurry this project if I were to catch my train to take me to the convention the day before!
I unfortunately couldn't complete the whole sword before I had to go so I simply cropped the bottom part for now.
Anyways, I'm happy how it turned out compared to the time spendt ^^
I will upload more pictures of the cardboard of the sword and probably of me wearing costume along with it
But that will have to wait for a couple of weeks, till I have returned from my vacation!

Hehe, no, not exacltly. Its made in photoshp/3D and printed out on a cardboard to make it for cosplay!

This is probably the single most stunning piece of art I've ever seen on this site.

Yes, I know how it is having to leave your work unfinished; I had been working on mine at my grandpa's house, in his woodshop, but the property is being sold, and so I have no means with which to complete it. ):
I do appreciate it, very much so; your sword renders and this here actually helped me decide how I would define certain details on my own.
I hope you don't mind that I did that, do you?

I'm happy to help out. I cannot say my render is accurate and true to the one used in the movie, since they had many different versions of the sword, and mine became a mix of them.

Exactly my view on life, there. Though, I wish I could have done more; I didn't even finish the First Tsurugi.
No one's sword can be truly accurate for that exact reason, but as I said, I did the main outline, your swords helped me keep it all in perspective, and with the small details.
I took certain liberties of my own, though, so it would be truly my sword.
I'm so glad to have your approval.

Nope. I'm not sure if I'm ready, in my opinion. If someone else thought I was, I'd be flattered. I think it would be nice to have some attention and actually get enough of an audience to feel like you had reliable feedback, but I don't want a piece that I don't think represents my talent to be featured.

Oh... hmm.. I had to go back and fort and remodel each model over and over again I guess ^^: It was a long time ago. I wrote a journal for a few years ago about how much I hated that sword for being such a pain in the ass! Lack of reference pictures and different versions of the sword made it hard to recreate. :c
