This anatomy study is amazing! I'm taking references from all sorts of studies at the moment, and this is the best one!

Excellent stuff ! The middle one looks like he's a serial killer...a skinless one.

Great work, as always...ualmask: " Not perfect, but more than enough to help artists gain an understanding of the underlying muscles of the male figure. Nicely done. "
well, Dualmask, if this is not good enough for your standards, I believe all of us would be grateful if you could provide some example of your excellency in this field...
Do you have any idea how demanding is to create work like this one in ZBrush or any other 3d application???

That isn't at all what I meant by "not perfect". I'm sure Zbrush is quite difficult. I'm presently learning how to use 3DS Max and it's plenty difficult. I merely meant that it's not a photorealistic representation of the human figure. I'm not the only person who made that assessment. [link] I never claimed to be an anatomy expert, and I did add this to my favorites and complimented it on its overall usefulness.
So keep your pointless sarcastic comments to yourself in the future and stop looking for ways to start drama. It won't work on me.

relax, man... It's cool, I don't wanna fight with you... Just back off, ok?

Dualmask In reply to Valdemarion [2010-11-02 14:37:53 +0000 UTC]
I don't believe in fighting either. I just thought it necessary to make my point, since you felt it necessary to put me out there both by replying to a comment that wasn't for you and for posting the same comment fresh on the deviation so the original artist could see it. It was an unnecessary conflict that you started.

I only wish that in some spot you could have included the side view (interior and exterior) of the arm muscles.

where is the sartourius? and the soupinators? your study is waay too detailed for me to distinguish the large parts from fiber and shading

What's the difference between the white and the red Muscles? Just curious

White is probably Tendon. [link]
Red is muscle. [link]

thought so too but I found it strange that the abs were white then^^
Seems like those are the muscles with fewer blood vessels...

Either that or the tendons keep the abs in place?

Shadelc In reply to rineman215 [2010-10-03 20:38:24 +0000 UTC]
uh, maybe... don't know. Do we have tendons there?
