Description “Vanity my favourite sin”.. Al Pacino’s cast spell
evening Jazz, authoritative affirmations.
Boisterous dominations, faint smelling cigarette stubs.
Musk and melon evenings, Time in an hourglass
The sand slipping against my strongest power.

All those passions, turbulences, imaginations.
Psychedelic palms against the evening outrage.
A gust of winds, staccato’s in my balcony.
This melancholy a shade in pastels,
Lust, Anger, Greed sisters of spine.

Skimpy clouds against my Psychedelic Palms,
Charlie never was invited, nor was Jane.
Uninvited they appear, patch my only friend pulls me away
Just in time,
Those palms on that evening,
Resisted temptation.
Good over evil all over again.

But which one is good
And which one is evil, I will leave to my evening jazz to decide.
Because I don’t ever want to meet Charlie.
My dominations forgot their dexterity with words.
Jane made me lose my only chance of meeting god.
Psychedelic Palms will be my altar now,
Since Vanity was my only sin.

I love the picture, and I really don't have that much of a problem relating it to the poem. They both have a sort of jazz/lounge feel to them that compliment each other nicely.

Self awareness is great in the big picture but sure is a stinging thing in the immediate. I really like both piece seperately the painting has a bright pop-art Warhol feel to it that despite my severe dislike of Warhol I really like here. The only crit I have is that it seems to bright and cheery for the content of the poem- but that could just be me.

which is the irony of the whole thing.. the brightness clashing with the wear ur happy face cus this is how it is!!
its not wat u have.. its wat u make of wat u have isnt it?

Hmm, okay- w/ that in mind I see how it works. The juxtapostioning perhaps for me is a little too unblended- but then again "mulch" "mash" and "chaos" have been used to describe my stuff so perhaps I should be talking

-I agree by the way that what you do with what you got is what matters but I'd also note that I have always been pretty happy with what I got too.
