He sips from his bottleSwaying slightly under the bright streetlamp
And his stomach lurches
Vomit pools on the sidewalk
Head pounding
Legs like jelly
He walks on
His escape tight in hand
She sees him
Talking to no one
Staggering down the street
Towards her
Her first instinct is to run
But she wont be a coward.
No she slowly walks
Acting calm
Ignoring the drunk
He spots her
Alone
Trembling slightly
And grins
A new target
No one will see this
So he follows
She glances over her shoulder
“Hey, baby!”
Quickly she speeds up
Praying he’ll leave her alone
“What’s the rush, baby?”
Don’t hurt her
He catches her
Grabbing her shoulder
Horny like hell
She doesn’t look that bad
Maybe she’s like to know
What a real man feel like
He grins
“Hey, baby.”
She jerks away
Now running
Screw being strong
This guy is messed
Please god
Help her now
He runs
Trips
Falls
“Baby! Wait!”
Scrambles to his feet
Don’t let her get away
She’s yours
She can’t run anymore
He won’t stop chasing
A hand grabs at her
Stronger
She can’t get away this time
He rips at he shirt
Revealing her bra
Black as the night
“Yes, baby.”
He tries to kiss her neck
But she’s too quick
She kicks him
Hard
Knocking the wind out of him
Sending him flying
She runs
Determined to get home
Tears streaming down her cheek steadily
And she falls
Her bag flies
All her things scatter
But he’s stopped chasing
And now she can cry
Hate the world
Catch her breath
Scream her anger
What has this world come to?

His escape tight in hand"... these lines provide a wonderful sense of being there in the flesh, as it were, and that's tough to do in any writing.
This piece is sad, and traumatic, and heartfelt. You've handled a difficult situation very well.

tough, i've had my fair run in with people like that also *shudder* that might be why i dont drink. I like to be in total control when i'm around people drinking...sometimes its that split second decision that saves your ass.

i think war is the stupidest thing the human being created. i mean really...killing eachother until the other side surrenders...THAT IS SO FUCKED UP. and rape...some people just cant control their lust...and when they abuse substances...its just even worse. i dont think anyone has the right to say who gets to live and who gets to die. its like people are trying to be god.
