Description my feet land on a soft, but hard floor. a breeze brushes past my arm and i shiver. i open my eyes and see that i'm in the entryway to this huge house.
there's a grand staircase leading up to the second floor with small windows lining the walls. there's a hall directly in front of me, leading to somewhere in the dark. i choose to take the stairs, since i have no clue at all where i am and what'll happen if i go down the dark hall.
the carpet is blood red as i climb the stairs. i hear a moan echo throughout the empty house. a tickle climbs my back, making me turn to see if someone is there. of course, there is no one.
when i reach the top of the stairs, they vanish. i dont mind, though, because i guess that's what stairs DO after one walks up them.
i gaze down the dimmed hallway and only see closed doors. once again, a moan echos through the hall and chills my bones. i slowly begin to walk down the hall.
i open door after door, seeing nothing more than a big fluffy bed and some furniture draped with sheets. i have always been fasinated with old houses, so i take my time looking at each room.
i come across the last door of the hall adn open it. this room is wy differnt than all the others. this room has a cradle and there are teddy bears scattered all around the room.  i pick one up and find it's caked with a thick layer of dust. it's face is sad. i wonder how it got this way and what happened to the people living here.
suddenly the door slowly creaks closed and clicks. i run over only to find that it's locked. i start to shake because i'm so scared, but then is pot a small pink door behind the cradle. i push it aside and slowly open the small door. there's a narrow staircase leading sharply upward. without hesitation i climb it, unsure of what i will find at the top.
there's another small door at the top and when i open it i find that i've discovered the library. there are hundreds of shelves and those rolly latters set up to reach the top shelves if needed. i walk in, totally in awe. there's another floor, all the walls lined with more books.
there's a hug window overlooking the courtyard. i walk over to it and see somethin shift in the shadow. i stop dead in my tracks.
"hello?" i quietly say. the shape moves and comes out of the shadows. it's a guy and he's gazing out the window.
he's basically drop-dead sexy. his hair is a deep deep black and it spiked. he's dressed in black silk, which happens to fit nicely around his chest.
"i've been waiting for you," he says, turning slowly toward me. he holds out his hand. i pause and then take it. his palm is warm and slightly rough. he lightly squeezes my hand in his.
we stare out the window silently. then he turn to me and tilts my face upward.
"i love you." he says, looking into my eyes.
"i love you more." i say without hesitation. i know we were meant to be together.
then he leans in closer to my face and kisses me. his lips are sweet and soft and i can't get enough of him. i melt into him, never wanting to leave.
and then i wake up.

Gotta hate waking up. I went through this entire period in my life where, I went through the day to get to the night. That sounds weird, but dreaming was the best thing that I ever experienced. Still is, but sadly, I don't dream as often as I used to. I gotta start dreaming again!! Demons Don't Dream.

don't you hate that in a dream? where it just gets good...where it's the part you've been waiting for...and all of a sudden you just wake up...and wish you could fall back into slumber and dream it again a million times, or atleast for it to finsih.

Yikes, the house sounds really creeppy... it reminded me of "the Haunting"

But yay!! You got a guy in the end. *Grin*
