Have you experimented with the tanka form of poetry?

Five lines (as yours), with syllable counts of 5, 7, 5, 7, 7 - I think this piece could work well in that form.

i drove my friend away cuz i never wanted to talk to them. about anything. and i'd get angry really easily...it was fucked. but i've changed and they refuse to accept it...whatever. fuckers.
