Was originally going to title this "If Everyone Cared" inspired by the song from Nickelback.I think this one is pretty self explanatory- I'll see what you the people think of this one!
(And yes Damn I haven't drawn anthro in a while. D: )
Drawn by hand, colored/edited in photoshop.
Had to use a photo reference for the crow.
Time taken(total)- over 6 hours @_@

I love the composition of this piece, I like the way you've tried to capture the howling from different angles with the different wolves which makes it look more realistic and gives the image a more balanced feel. I particularly like the touch of the bird superimposed on the moon, I think it makes the piece stand out more and adds contrast, as a lot of people would just have the moon. I also like the style of colouring with the sketchy lineart, it works well
If you like critique however, bearing in mind this was a LOOONG time ago, the starry sky could have been made better with perhaps a few thin clouds, and by using some different sized stars brushes to give it a more natural feel. Perhaps the lighting on the characters should have been darker too as it's a night scene - I can see there is some shading, but I feel that given the setting it would be starker in contrast.
But as an overall piece, love the atmosphere and the sense of scale you've given it, it's a beautiful piece again, your gallery is very nice ^-^

I agree with every bit of your critique. If I were to ever go back to refine this piece, the first thing would be to start from scratch with the night sky. I have a better understanding of how to 'make' skies these days anyway.
The shadows on the characters should be darker too yeh.

However, I do want to ask a question, if I may-? The scene here is wonderful, but I really don't get what's going on... moreso, I have two ideas as to what. Care to indulge me-?

Yeah, it wasn't supposed to be straight forward.
Well, my idea is that the female lying down is pregnant(if you can see she's kinda bulgy, but i should of made her stomach bigger). Her packmates are calling out to the moon in a prayer of a healthy birth. The crow was supposed to represent some sort of spirit or guardian.. maybe the pack's totem animal? *shrug*
