Description
Turncoat: a person who changes to the opposite party or faction, reverses principles, etc.; renegade.Another piece for my turncoat series. I've got the bug to draw some fanart again and it was a lot of fun drawing these two. I tried to make them both look cool ... though I'm more partial to Gai. Big surprise.
Usually when I get an idea for fanart, I do a search to make sure someone else hasn't done the concept already. I didn't really do it with this one, so hopefully it hasn't been done before.

I figured someone had drawn them in akatsuki coats before, but the overall look -- that's what I was worried about having been done before.

Kakashi always has that air of cool around him, but you really made Gai stand out.

Love the glowing eyes. And that green and red are like...opposites of eachother on the color wheel I believe? Blue and green compliment eachother well <3 and I absolutely adore the shading and lighting for this |D

Ah, I probably should tell you what I love about it
The colors are fantastic and I love how in sync Gai and Kakashi are. The both of them just speak the theme of the concept and I defnately feel they have Akatsuki-fied. 83

I agree, but I have a tendency to DESTROY books. I'll bend them backwards in half until their spine is nice and subtle so I can lay it flat. I also bend page corners and lose dust jackets. This is a big reason I don't like getting books from the library.

I just get annoyed when paperback covers bend. Even if I'm the one that bent them in the first place.
The only issues I have with the library is that even once I'm finished with a book, I'll hold onto it until a notice comes or I get a fee slip then I return them. XD

HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO THIS STUFF! like seriously? i can only manipulate images, (thus my gallery) i've had a few good ones, but the rest, are kinda blah, but you like, put my stuff to shame XD do you draw it free hand? or use a tablet?

I draw everything with a tablet -- I don't like using paper and pencils. >.<
Then I use various software (listed on my front page) to make my imaginings come to fruition.

it's absolutely incredible! have you ever sold art before? because you could definately make a profit if you found people with any common sense, in Winnipeg there's this AWESOME convention, for anime, gaming, EVERYTHING called KeyCon you should check it out if you can, i'm sure EVERYBODY there would love your art
