Just though people might like a simple view of how to do some of the light pen things that I do.I'm only gonna do a simple one, gotta keep some of the secrets for myself.

Well I hope you might give it a go. To be honest its got a few faves on it but I have never seen any results. Im thinking of hosting a competition to see who can do the best one and put a subscription as the prize.

this brought back fond memories of my first ever photography/darkroom class. we would use flashlights and multiple exposures and.... *delighted giggle* o the fun!

i gotta try this, how long was the shutter speed for your camera?

It all depends really. You can either set it to the longest and then make sure you let the exposure end with no light getting in or use the bulb setting with a remote and end it yourself, thats the easier way as you can draw for as long as you want then.
Please please do give it a go and let me see the results as I have a few faves on this now but have not seen one person link me back to anything they have got from it.

Well if you are using the bulb setting with a remote then click it again to close4 the shutter. If not the exposure will end at the end of the timer itself

I see! Personally, I think you should put it under Tutorials -> Photography. I think they just didn't like yours under Misc.... Mine might actually be in the appropriate location? OR not.

The thing is that they dont seem to move it unless it gets mentioned to them ( a complaint as it were ). But surely its fine under misc, its not doing anyone any harm so why?!?!!? I must admit to being quiet upset about it.

I remember the first (and thus far only) time they moved one of my pieces into Scraps because they claimed that there wasn't enough nudity to warrant it being under the Nudes category. I mean...she was nude...100% nude, and just because we only saw her head and shoulders in that particular scene, it's clear if you look at the other shots that she's not dressed. *Sighs* Is it really only by complaint? Or is it also checked over by the gallery folks?

That's true...personally, I think it's really useful. DId you say you put it under Misc. or Photography? Because, personally, I think it fits under the Photography category. Forgive me if I didn't understand when you said it before.

Not at all! You don't need to resubmit it, just edit the category and place it back under the appropriate one. It IS a tutorial, and it DOES talk exclusively about a photographic technique. I think Photography would be the way to go.

Now thats a scary thought. You could be onto a very twisted and dark idea for a matrix style movie. The world of imaginary friends is real and they attach themselves only to the young, manipulating them until they have no more use and then wipe their brains of all the terrible things they did to them alone and send them back into the world as adults convinced that imaginary friends dont exist.
Or do I think too much.
