Description
What happens when Yeerks decide to co-exist with their hosts peacefully? You get a race of annoying salesmen that build Lego-Dr. Seuss skyscrapers! Seriously. The Yeerks, now Yoorts, designed a host (the Isk) that needed them to survive, and altered themselves to need the host, though they still need Kandrona rays every three days. Every Iskoort is part of a guild that specializes in one or two things, such as Trading and Warmaking (the two shown above), and boy are they annoyingly persistent.
Although the Iskoort only appeared in one book, the idea of Yeerks peacefully co-existing with a (bio-engineered) host has been suggested several times (unfortunately, the rest of the Yeerk Empire never get to attempt this, as they were forced to morph something and stay in that form
BOOK: Animorphs #26 - The Attack

i imagine their form of locomotion being moonwalking since the Iskoort's legs are so odd, i like the accordion stomachs.

Thank you extraordinarily much!! I have been meaning to try and find a good picture of these guys to try and make my own race like these in Spore. Now I do, and i am quite pleased.

I love how I can use Google or Bing Image search to search for an "Animorphs" alien species, and your drawings are almost always first.

This is a really cool series of pictures you have. I wasn't seriously into Animorphs, so I only recognize about half of them. The name Iskoort sounded familiar, though.

Actually the Elimist created the Iskoort with the idea that the Yeerks would eventually find them and learn to coexist with their hosts just as the Iskoort did.
The Elimist recruited Animorphs job to save these guys from the Howlers.
And I don't recall all of the Yeerks being forced to stay in morph, just those on Earth that were morph-capable.

Sweeeeeeeeet!
imagined them more bug-like-and-brown-dark-green, but that looks awesome and changed my mind!

Iskoort! This was my FAVORITE book in the series! They were just so completely ridiculous! They were also the only species in the series that I just could NOT picture! Every time I tried, they looked completely different than the time before.

Damn, the Iskoort were as annoying as hell. I the Yeerks ever try this lifestyle I hope they keep their dignity, unlike these guys.

I always imagined the Warmaker Guild members wearing skulls to make themselves look tougher, and so they can head-butt other beings.
