Description
A large monster bio-engineered by the Arn to keep Hork-Bajir in their trees. Due to the lack of an official/common name, we can assume any Hork-Bajir unfortunate to meet such a beast never escaped. And with jaws large enough to bite all the way through even the largest trees (and there being a half a dozen other monsters), it's easy to see why!BOOK: The Hork-Bajir Chronicles

It looks like a whale's head on oversized spider's legs.

Agreed. Β Although it looks like it has the filter-teeth as well, so it's hard to imagine it cutting through anything.

I think baleen are bit longer and less sharp, though.

This alien kinda looks like one of the characters in Monsters, Inc. Did Sully call him "Ricky"?

It looks like a satanic whale. It kinda reminds me of the tick-dogs from Cloverfield for some reason.

You should have drawn a Hork-Bajir for size comparison.

Hmm. Whale-like. Basically just a big jaw with legs. I like it!

BTW, is the Hoober one of the things you're doing next on the creatures from the Andalite Homeworld?

Cool can't wait. Is it going to be a four-legged Hoober? They're good luck. ^^

Looks good. But there is one problem...The skin tones, you lightened and darkend them by tending towards white or black. Colour doesnt behave like this. Take a photo of ..maybe a red apple where light is falling onto. Open it in Photoshop and go over the picutre with colour picker and the colour menu open. Then you will see how the colour is changing if you want to go darker or brighter.Go over youre painting with the color picker too...and maybe you will see how limited your chosen colour are...donΒ΄t take me woring, I just wanted to help maybe.
