I'm really lovin the effects on this one, especially that subtle little detail of how the creatures mouth casts that bit of glow on its own form, it really gives a nice hint of texture(gosh and look at that critter; it's so wicked lookin but at the same time, I rEAAALLLY like its aesthetics!) I also think it's kinda cool how the creature itself doesn't exactly rip through the guy, but more like...seethes out; really gives a good idea of that 'internal struggle made real' kinda feelin.
And I hope I'm not misinterpreting this, but I really like how you posed them here. The person looks like he's trying to get up- even if he couldn't win, at least he's gonna fight for all he's worth; the creature seems like it's one of those that would roar or whisper doubtful things, but he's still gonna give it all he's got. *clears throat* A-ah but yeah, anyway, I ramble oops!
