Description
Nobody asked, but I’m posting this anyway.I’m always eager to share what I know and what I’ve researched about colour all this time. I find there’s a lot of misleading information online about colours, especially the infamous “warm light creates cool shadows and cool light creates warm shadows.” So I’m sharing this to demystify the elusiveness of those statements. These are methods I’ve tested and seem to work for me, so I’m hoping it will help others find a way to colour better too.
We’re always learning something, and even after learning colour from books and online sources for 5 years or more now, I still find myself learning new things analysing the art of others and reading more on it.
If you have my questions about colours, feel free to talk about it in the comments, if I know how to answer it, I will. Though, you shouldn’t expect objective answers. That’s the nature of art isn’t it? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder…
